Terms of Service

By creating an account or using FILus, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Who can use FILus

• FILus is built exclusively for Filipino Overseas Workers (OFWs) currently living or working abroad.
• You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account.
• Accounts registered with a Philippine (+63) phone code are not eligible.

2. Community guidelines

The following are strictly prohibited on FILus:

• Hate speech, harassment, discrimination, or threats of any kind.
• Spam, mass-DM, phishing, malware, or fake accounts.
• Posting scam, fraudulent, or illegal job offers.
• Sexual content involving minors, violence, or illegal goods.
• Impersonating government agencies (OWWA, DMW, SSS, Pag-IBIG, DFA) or other persons.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you post. You grant FILus a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content on the platform so the service can function.

4. AI tools

The AI Coach, Contract Reviewer, Scam Detector, and any other AI features on FILus are provided for informational purposes only. They are not legal, financial, medical, or immigration advice. Always consult a licensed professional (OWWA, DMW, lawyer, doctor, accountant) for binding decisions.

5. Account suspension

FILus may suspend, restrict, or permanently delete accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines, with or without prior notice.

6. Third-party links

FILus may contain links to third-party websites, services, or job postings. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site. Use them at your own risk.

7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

FILus is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (₱0 for free accounts).

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Makati City.
