FILus Community Guidelines
FILus is a community for Filipino workers and families worldwide. We want every kabayan to feel safe, respected, and free to share. By using FILus, you agree to follow these guidelines. Posts, comments, and reels that violate them may be removed, hidden, or your account warned or banned.
1. Be kind
No hate speech, slurs, or attacks based on race, religion, nationality, gender, sexuality, or disability. No bullying, harassment, doxxing, or threats against any individual.
2. Keep it honest
No scams, fake job offers, recruitment fraud, phishing links, or impersonation of agencies, employers, or other users.
3. No sexual or violent content
No nudity, pornography, sexual solicitation, or graphic violence. Absolutely no content involving minors.
4. No political campaigning
FILus is a community space, not a campaign platform. Neutral news and personal opinions are welcome; partisan electioneering and candidate attacks are not.
5. No spam
Don't flood the feed with the same post, irrelevant promotion, or bot content. Self-promotion is fine in moderation.
6. Respect privacy
Don't share other people's private information, photos, or messages without their permission.
How moderation works
- Posts auto-publish immediately so the feed stays lively.
- An automated keyword filter and AI safety check run in the background. Content that is clearly harmful may be blocked at submission.
- Anyone can tap Report on a post, comment, or reel. Three confirmed reports auto-hide the item pending review.
- Admins can restore, remove, warn, or ban based on these guidelines.
Reporting
If you see something that breaks these rules, use the Report button (the three-dot menu on any post, comment, or reel) and pick a reason. We review every report.
